- CD
and DVD disks recycling.
-
-
- There
are many companies around the world recycling CD
and DVD disks.
-
- Some
of them are using sand and mechanical scrapers to
detach Aluminum and glues from CD surface.
- But
production rate that can be achieved is less than
low.
-
- Some
other are using a mix of very dangerous chemicals,
to remove contaminants.
- And
this is way too dangerous and expensive.
-
- There
is a way to get them clean, in ground form, only
by friction washing using fresh water and nothing
else.
-
- The
only thing to add to the few machinery needed, is
a good membrane filtration system to remove the
dissolved glue from water, and re-use clean water all
over again.
-
- How
does it sound ?
-
- The
system works both with CDs and DVD disks and result
is a clear flake
-
- Production
rates can go from 300 to 800 Kg/hour.
-
- Here
the simple layout of the line with all machinery
required for washing.
-
-
-
- To
complete the line, simply add a granulator at the
beginning and a silo to the end.
