Drying.

One of the most common problem in any washing line is drying.
And if you are a recycler you know what we are talking about.

In this page we'll be talking only about mechanical drying and other related systems.

Because this has been one of the most difficult things since washing started, a lot of people did come out with fancy machinery with, most of times, non great results indeed.

Of course the problem of drying is related to thin flakes because if thickness is over 100 μ, everybody can come up with something.

Drying, together with grinding, is also know as a "money eater" process because the energy involved is normally very high, specially if your supplier went with "hot air" or "hot something".

It is true, sometimes hot air is kind of compulsory but the point is if you start with your flakes with a 15% moisture content or from 5%.

Actually, we can spend a word about drying, saying we can guarantee very low moisture content, doesn't matter how thin material is, we will be lower than anybody else.

It took some years but now we can provide for centrifuges from simple models to computer aided machines to get your flakes from dry to one digit moisture anyway.

And with 1/3 of the power you're using right now, guaranteed.

How does it sounds ?

Please tell us what you have and we'll tell you how low we can get to.

Specially if you have a "squeezing press" or a "220 kW hot air box" or something like this we will tell you how to get better results with a simple, maintenance free, machine.
