SSP Solid State Polycondensation

This is the name everybody knows.

We do in a little different way to save investment and operating costs and here is how:

Instead going all the way to pelletizing, meaning to melt the flakes to pellets, cool them down and re-heat  the bulk to get the Polycondensation, we do the IV upgrade right in the melt state so the system is a

MELT  PHASE  POLYCONDENSATION

Better than this, to get pellets with an IV value within ± 0,005, glycol is added first to get everything down to a value of  0,25 and then the melt is upgraded to 0,85, or better, depending on residence time and vacuum.

The system is continuous and all parameters (viscosity, temperature and vacuum) automativcally controlled.

This makes a lot of sense specially when talking about small production rates.
